Andrew Goodman, Chairman
Andrew has an impressive track record in the recruitment and executive search sector; he was the founder of Goodman Graham, Renior Partners and European Technology Forum. In 2002 he founded (and was chairman of) Public Recruitment Group (PRG) which floated on AIM in 2004 and grew to become the largest teacher supply company in the UK with £90m in sales. Andrew has also served as a director of Microgen PLC (AIM listed technology firm), TechPartners and James Harvard.
Chris Cooke, Chief Executive
Chris is responsible for the strategic direction, vision, major client development and the management of the business against the Group’s objectives. After working for “Communicate” magazine, a communications industry publication, Chris began his technology recruitment career with Times Computer Group (TCG) in 1990. In 1996 Chris was appointed as one of four directors in the TCG parent company, MRG Group (then the UK’s 33rd largest recruitment company - ranked by turnover of £65m). MRG was subsequently sold to Fluor Daniel in 1997. Following the integration of MRG and Fluor, Chris left the business and founded NP.
Sugi Sugunasingha, Chief Financial Officer
Appointed to the Board of Directors of NP Group on 14 June 2007 as CFO. Sugi has a wealth of experience in financial management gained within the IT industry, in particular through eight years in various senior financial roles at ICL Plc and at Drax Dearman Group, a large, privately owned recruitment consultancy. He also has extensive corporate experience, including leading the listing of Softbank on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and subsequently becoming a Supervisory Board Director of that company. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Anderson in London in 1991and prior to joining NP, Sugi was CFO of the AIM listed technology company Netstore Plc.
David Etherington, Chief Operating Officer
Appointed as Chief Operating Officer in August of 2009, David had previously been Partner at Astbury Marsden, a fast-track 100 company, with overall responsibility for the Technology and Advisory Groups. Prior to that David worked at Capita as Director of IT Recruitment, Managing Director of White & Nunn Plc and Sales Director with TechPartners International. He brings a real depth of relevant experience in international staffing solutions to NP at a time when we are re-energising growth across our technology practices and accelerating our existing rate of growth in Education. David has responsibility for the strategic direction and management of group sales and marketing, and is a member of the senior board.
Sanjay Naik, Director
Sanjay was appointed as a director of NP in 1998. Sanjay has over 16 years’ experience in recruitment and his primary objective is to grow and develop the SAP and ERP strategic practice areas in line with agreed company budgets.
Mark Alborough, Director
Mark was appointed as a director of NP in 1998. Mark has over 16 years’ experience in recruitment and his primary objective is to grow and develop the Infrastructure and Communications strategic practice areas in line with agreed company budgets.
With the company’s rapid increase in scale, all directors have the required generic skills of; comprehensive teambuilding, management and the leading of multiple client engagements (on both a campaign and contract basis).
